Predators
Owing to the diverse ecosystem in CBC, presence of a host of predators comprising Jackals, Foxes, Asiatic Wild Cats and Mongoose has also steadily developed in the area. Some of these account for casualties of the main inhabitants like Chinkaras and Blackbucks particularly the newborn fawns. Also their rate of growth easily outnumbers the main species, conversely however the threat necessitates the targeted species to stay alert and employ evasive actions.
