Blackbuck
It is indeed one of the two main species to inhabit CBC. The grown-up male is distinguishable from afar because of its majestic curling horns and black & white coat. Cross-country movement enables one to see Blackbuck in herds, but generally a male can be found at the head of its harem or fighting another male to contest territory. While females are conspicuous by their brown and white coats usually accompanied by fawns, especially in the breeding season during March-April and August-October.
